What is a multi use headset

Will they work with my office phone too?

Most headsets that are specifically designed for computers and VoIP applications will not work with office headsets. There are some models that are designed for both USB connectivity and normal office applications such as the GN Netcom 9350 which is a great headset for anyone looking for the crossover.

If you do want to cross over with a standard office headset (either corded or wireless) you will need to buy a specific USB adaptor. They transform your office headset into a computer headset. It's great for Skype, teleconferencing and much more.
