Jabra Evolve 75e UC Stereo USB & Bluetooth Neckband ANC Headset
The Jabra Evolve 75e is a truly unique entity. It has ACTIVE noise cancelling earbuds connected to a firm but flexible neckband which is worn behind the neck. It comes with a USB dongle and works with PC and mobile phone and tablet devices. If you have a desk phone that accepts a Bluetooth headset or has a USB headset port this may work with that but call us to check as not many phones have either of these. This is the standard version. There's also a version optimised for use with Lync, Skype for Business & MS Teams, the Jabra Evolve 75e MS
page if you plan to use it with one of those programmes.
Great for noisy offices (or trains!), the ANC blocks out background noise (like headphones you get for travel). The hybrid microphones in the speakers actually listens to the environmental noise and plays an imperceptible static to counter it so it fels like you've reduced the noise by 27dBs - that's exactly the same as ALOT! One button press allows you to listen in on other people. Listen to your own music to help you focus! Voice calls and music have different requirements, the 75e ensures rocking music AND professional sounding calls. You can also turn off the noise cancelling. When in ANC mode there's a talk through function for when the flight crew ask if you'd like the chicken or beef for dinner.
The design of the neckband holds the in-cable microphone in the right place to pick up your voice, It is worth noting that the due to the design of the headset and placement of the microphone the noise cancelling is not as good as those that have a microphone boom that sits right in front of your mouth. If you need outstanding mic quality we suggest looking at the traditional headband style boom mic headsets.
The neckband vibrates to alert you to an incoming call.
There's a convenient online indicator light built into the headset so that colleagues will know when you're busy on a call. The whole device is controlled by 5 carefully placed buttons.
The 75e can be worn with one earbud in or 2, or when not in use the earbuds can be taken out and the headset draped around your neck like a necklace - the earbuds are magnetised. ( this is hard to explain, have a scroll through our images!). It comes with 3 sizes of earbuds and ear stabilisers which push against the cartilage of your ear to old the earbud in place.
This Evolve is Bluetooth and has a USB dongle. You use the dongle to connect to a PC or laptop then the headset can still maintain a Bluetooth connection to a mobile phone or tablet. It has an excellent 13 hour talk time or 14 for music (please note this is the very max. Over time and distance this reduces. When connected via the dongle you can wander up to 100m from your computer (up to 10m from your mobile phone).
As you'd expect this premium headset from Jabra is suitable for use with all major softphones. It's also Certified by GOTo Meeting, Cisco,Avaya, Google, Chromebox, fuze, ClickMeeting, join me, Adobe Connect, circuit, OnStream Meetings and StartMeeting. When used wiht your mobile it jas a one touch smart button to connect to Siri & Google Now.
Please note as this is an earbud headset. Any exchanges or returns will be charged for replacement earbuds, because... well..... because ick!
NB operation to skip a track works on mobile only, not via PC.
