What We Love

What We Don't Love

- Some instances of headset not performing or charging properly
- Still has the 'stick' poking down - is it just us that doesn't like that?
- Short microphone boom design -  this will always pick up more background noise than a microphone that sits directly next to your lips.

In Detail

The Poly Voyager Free 60+ is an earbud style headset that lets you fully embrace the headband-free experience! These earbuds are small and discrete and eliminate the hair entanglement hassle that headbands sometimes bring.

Benefit from enhanced portability with the earbud design, where the compact case takes up minimal bag space and weighs significantly less than traditional headsets.

The controls are at your fingertips, both on the earbuds and the case. The case doubles as a convenient command centre, ideal for desk work, allowing you to check battery life, mute/adjust volume, switch to transparency mode, and handle calls or audio source changes. Most functions are accessible on the earbuds, with further customization available through the Poly Lens app. The case can be charged via the included USB cable or a Wireless Qi Charger (not included) and even safeguards your USB dongle to reduce the risk of misplacement.

The case also connects to airline entertainment systems, meaning you don't need to take up extra weight and space in your hand luggage for bulky headphones. And since these buds have Active Noise Cancelling, you can block out all the noise!

Surprisingly extended battery life accompanies this compact earbud headset—24 hours in total (8 in the earbuds and 2 charges in the case). The flexibility to use either earbud allows for continuous usage on hectic call days, charging one while using the other. A quick 15-minute charge provides over an hour of battery life.

Equipped with Active Noise Cancelling, these buds, when snugly fitted, aid in isolating you from the outside world—perfect for immersing yourself in music, podcasts, or simply chilling. No need to remove the earbud to hear your surroundings; a simple click on the multifunction button activates the "hear through" feature. However, note that Active Noise Cancelling primarily benefits you, not your caller.

In noisy environments, the microphone's distance from your mouth (a characteristic of this design) may pick up background noise, resembling a Picasso portrait. For a quieter call experience, consider switching to a headset with a microphone boom closer to your mouth.

Designed for computer use, the Free 60 pairs with a USB dongle, providing additional control, a superior Bluetooth connection, and enhanced sound quality compared to the built-in laptop Bluetooth. The zip-up felt travel case includes dedicated spaces for both the dongle and the charge case, addressing the notorious issue of dongle misplacement.
