EPOS | Sennheiser ADAPT 563 ANC Bluetooth Headset
The ADAPT 563 is a stereo (2 earcups) Bluetooth headset designed for use with a mobile or Bluetooth compatible desk phone. This variant does NOT come with a USB dongle so isn't suitable for use with a PC or laptop. It has a microphone boom which folds away very discretely. The Active Noise Cancelling in the ear-cups helps block out background noise around you and keep you focused on your work / music.

This is the first Bluetooth headset from EPOS (previously Sennheiser) to be in the headphone style with Active Noise Cancelling AND to have a microphone arm. As Sennheiser gurus themselves have told us, nothing beats physical proximity when it comes to voice reproduction quality. So if you're looking for something to listen to music AND to use with calls this is would be an excellent choice.
Modern collaborative office environments are becoming increasingly noisy and challenging our ability to concentrate. The ADAPT 560 has Active Noise Cancelling tech which 'hears' the noise around you and sends out tiny signals that you can't actually hear, to counter-act them. That's the simplified explanation, anyway - what it means for you is that you can get your work done in peace (and of course listen to music without hearing colleagues too), then when you're on the journey home, you can retreat to your world of music, podcasts and audio-books OR stay aware of your environment by turning off ANC. Now the ear cups are not large, they are oval in shape and the speaker diameter is only about 35mm so they won't encompass your ear and the noise blocking is not the same as the Adapt 360 or 660 - its the addition of the microphone boom that makes the 560 stand out.
The sound quality is of course outstanding; ensuring you get vivid highs and booming bass.
As you'd expect from EPOS it has a classic, minimalist design that's not going to be out of fashion 5 minutes after you get it (no gaudy colours to be found in THIS range). The earcups fold flat & in towards the headband. The 563 DON'T come with a case.
As this headset does not have a USB dongle it is not certified for softphones.
