Using the Yealink USB/QD Trainer Cable as a Trainer Cable
- Connect the cable: Plug the USB-A connector into your computer and connect two Yealink YHS series headsets to the Y-shaped QD connector.
- Trainer and trainee setup: The trainer should connect their headset to the shorter QD cable, while the trainee connects to the longer one.
- Default settings: The trainer's microphone will be muted by default, allowing them to listen to the call without being heard. The trainee will have full access to listen and speak.
- Trainer participation: If the trainer needs to speak, press and hold the mute button on the inline controls for 2 seconds. The inline control light will glow white, indicating the trainer is now unmuted and can join the conversation.
