The Voyager Free 60 is a pair of compact wireless earbuds that come in a charging case (which charges via Qi Wireless or cable) and a USB dongle. They connect to mobile or table via Bluetooth and to PC/laptop via the included USB dongle. They can maintain 2 active connections at a time and remember 8 devices. Active Noise Cancelling helps you block out the world around you but at the tap of a button you can enable transparency mode to hear your environment. The earbuds can be use independantly of each other or together -  the 1st one out of the case is the master.

What We Love

• Adaptive Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) automativally compensates for variations in user fit to block out the world -  earbud fit helps this be really effective
• 24 hours battery life -  8 hours on the earbuds and 2 charges in the case OR just use one earbud at a time while you charge the other and they'll last forever!
• Intuitive features such as answer calls by inserting earbuds.  Pause music by removing earbuds
• Adjustable side-tone so you can hear yourself speaking (and don't shout!)

What We Don't Love

• Some instances of headset not performing or charging properly
• Still has the 'stick' poking down - is it just us that doesn't like that?
• Short microphone boom design - this will always pick up more background noise than a microphone that sits directly next to your lips.
• No space for the dongle in the charge case

In Detail

As this is an earbud style headset, you can free yourself from the headband! Not everyone likes a headband, and earbuds are much more discreet and don't get caught in your hair when you take them off like some headbands can.

You also get more room in your bag with this earbud style design, which seems kinda obvious, but the small case will take up way less space in your bag and of course they're a lot lighter than a headset. 

You also get more battery than you'd expect from a smaller earbud headset. With a total of 24 hours (8 hours in the earbud and 2 charges in the case) for a fully charged up case and earbuds you don't have to carry cables with you wherever you go. Unlike most earbud options you can use either bud so if you have a HUGE day of calls, leave one charging in the case , use the other for a few hours then swap and repeat.  If you get caught short,  a 15 minute charge gives you over an hour of battery.

These buds have Active Noise Cancelling which, when combined with a good fit, helps the user block out the outside world.  Great when you want to rock out or chill out to your favourite tunes or hear that podcast. No need to remove the earbud for fear of missing your coffee order being called out, just click the multifunction button on one of the earbuds to activate hear through.  NB  Active Noise Cancelling is not the same as blocking out background noise for your caller, read on...

Microphone is not ideal for noisy environments, unless you resemble a Picasso portrait, as the microphone of the earbuds are a fair way from your mouth.  If you're working in a noisy office / cafe / airport etc a lot of that background noise will get picked up. It's just the nature of this design style -  technology can only do so much!  If you really don't want your caller to hear what's happening around you,  you'll want to switch to something with a microphone boom so it's closer to your mouth.

The Free 60 is designed to be used with the USB dongle when used with a computer, not the Bluetooth built into your laptop. The dongle gives additional control,  a better Bluetooth connection and better sound quality. These little devices are sooo easy to lose. There's a space in the zip up felt travel case for the dongle and the charge case.
