January 2025 Update: You asked, Jabra listened! Daisy chaining is back with the Speak2 75. Thanks to the latest firmware, you can now link two Speak2 75 devices for crystal-clear, room-filling sound. It’s perfect for bigger spaces, making sure everyone’s voice is heard no matter where they’re sitting. To enable this feature, simply update your speaker’s firmware using the Jabra Direct software.

Speak2 Series: Choosing the Right Speakerphone for Your Needs

The Speak2 series offers three models, each designed for different use cases, portability, and connectivity needs. All models feature an integrated cable with both USB-A and USB-C connectors to connect to your PC.

1. Speak2 40: This wired-only model connects via the integrated USB-C or USB-A cable. It does not have a built-in battery, making it non-portable, and requires a USB connection to a PC to use. Bluetooth is not supported.

2. Speak2 55: Offering both wired and wireless functionality, the Speak2 55 can connect via its integrated USB-C or USB-A cable or operate wirelessly via Bluetooth connection. It does not come with a USB Bluetooth dongle, making it primarily suited for mobile phone use in wireless mode as it is not optimised for seamless PC connectivity. The integrated USB-C/A cable can be used to charge the device or to use the speakerphone with a PC.

3. Speak2 75: The most versatile model, the Speak2 75 can connect via the integrated USB-C or USB-A cable or wirelessly. It supports wireless connections to both mobile phones and PCs, with a USB-C or USB-A dongle included for reliable wireless PC connectivity.

Each model is designed to meet different user requirements, balancing portability, device compatibility, and connection preferences.

Why does it come with a USB dongle, why not just use Bluetooth on my laptop? 

The simple fact is you will get the possible audio, best control & customisation and best range when you use the dongle. Skip the next bit if you're happy to just trust us on that one!

• Range -  You can go further from your PC if you're connecting via the dongle.  Computer BT range can be as low as only 2-5m.
• Call Quality -  The dongle functions as an audio processor, assuring the best audio experience through its super wideband audio. If you don't use the dongle, what you and clients hear just won't be as clear and natural sounding.
• Customisation -  Using the Jabra Direct app, you can make changes to how your unit behaves -  eg prioritising mobile calls or spoken alerts vs tones
