Jabra Evolve2 30 UC Stereo USB-A Corded Headset
Essential Info
The Evolve2 30 series are USB only corded headsets. Unlike the previous Evolve 30 II it does NOT have a 3.5mm jack for some mobiles.
This model is stereo (2 ear cushions), UC and has the regular USB-A connection to connect to some Macs, and also to Laptops & PCs.

Certification explanations - MS vs UC
Teams Certified. Functionality can depend on how you use Teams and the package you have but in general a Teams certified headset will allow you some shortcuts into Teams and its functions. If you're not wearing it, a green or purple light will prompt you to various things going on in teams and if on your head you'll get voice prompts. If you don't use it with Teams, it will work as a UC headset is 99.9% of applications but won't be certified for those softphones.
UC stands for 'Unified Communications' , essentially that just means its not certifed for Teams but is certified for other things. It will still work with Teams, giving you audio, you just won't get those shortcuts or notifications) and, like the MS version can be used with other softphones and applications. UC versions are certified for use with leading UC platforms such as Cisco, Mitel, Avaya, Zoom, RingCentral & Unify but will work with any application regarldless.
Digging a little deeper
The Evolve2 30s are lightweight and comfortable, with memory foam ear cushions that countour to the shape of your ear and a nicely cushioned headband. Jabra measured hundreds of heads to make sure this headset is just right for all day wear, without too much pressure on ears, so unless you have a super tiny or really enormous noggin (no judgement here!) you're good to go.
It has shaped and tilted earcups to assist with comfort & also blocking out background noise. A good fit means it will help block out distracting background noise (mostly relevant for those needing a steroe headset for this purpose). This design does mean however that you have to wear the microphone coming from your right ear. For mono versions the earcup will always be on the right ear.
The 2 30 has a small but bright busy light on the earcup which has the microphone boom but not the microphone itself. There is a little flex in the mic boom to ensure perfect positioning for best voice transmision.
Sound quality in both directions; The Evolve2s have great quality sound with a new chipset and 2 microphones to hone in on just your voice. If you like to rock out between calls, you'll find this an excellent headset and you can pause and skip tracks.
This is a simple, plug & play solution for those who don't want to splash out much on a headset. Obviously it's easily transportable and has a pouch to protect it in transit (plus it sits flat as the ear cushions rotate 90 degrees). You don't need to charge it like a Bluetooth headsetbut then again you're tied to your computer.
Unusually for a USB corded headset, all the controls are on the headset, not set into a control panel in the cable. You can
